With backgrounds from the opposite sides of the music industry, entrepreneurs Petter Trønsdal and Christian Rodrigo set out to simplify the everyday management of booking and touring. The idea was to gather all the tools needed into one platform and thereby give a complete overview, which would lead to a faster and better workflow.

They started their work with HQartist in 2016 by combining the tools needed for organizing management, contracts, booking, touring, and communication both internally and with artists.
